The story
Through hidden time tunnels beneath history, the ruthless Time Twisters travel back to rewrite mankind's greatest moments and seize the future. Standing against them is an ancient order of Time Warriors, and its newest guardian is a bare-knuckle champion who has never been beaten.
Watching over the whole war is the immortal Time Keeper, who judges the fate of every age. Never give up. Never back down. Never surrender.
Every episode, a different era
Time Warriors is built so that every episode transports the audience to a different age. Mike stands before advancing Roman soldiers in Roman Britain, faces a Viking warrior as longships arrive through the fog, and fights inside a medieval castle under siege, with more eras still to come, reaching as far as the future.
At the emotional centre is a return to the traveller fairs and a bare-knuckle ring in the 1960s, where a young fighter looks straight at Mike and says: "Took you long enough, grandson."
The characters
An elderly Romani seer reveals Mike's heritage: "Your fists have conquered men. But your destiny lies beyond the fighting ring." A guardian of time, a warrior from another age, has been searching centuries for him. Against them rides the Black Rider, a fallen Time Warrior and destroyer of timelines, who believes that history belongs to those strong enough to change it.
A true story at its heart
Time Warriors is built on the real life of Mike Strevens, an undefeated British Traveller bare-knuckle world champion. His strength, his heritage and his refusal to quit are the foundation the whole franchise stands on: built on legacy, driven by time.
