The story
In 1890, fourteen-year-old Prince Abdulaziz is driven into exile after the Battle of Mulayda. For a decade he is forged in the deserts of Kuwait under a hardened bodyguard.
In 1902 he returns to storm the Masmak Fortress and retake Riyadh. From there he unites the tribes of Arabia into a kingdom, founded in 1932. A kingdom is not inherited. It is earned.
The teaser
The teaser trailer is complete: more than three minutes of desert epic with bilingual Arabic and English title cards, produced through Dreamcatcher Films' AI pipeline. It shows the scale this story deserves, from the falcon and the boy to the storming of the fortress.
Where it stands
Warrior King is in development, with the screenplay and treatment written by Gerry Sherrard and the teaser complete. It sits in the tradition of Lawrence of Arabia, Braveheart and Gladiator.
