The brief
ADNOC, the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, wanted cinematic content to tell the story of its collaboration with Formula 1 and to communicate the scale of its energy infrastructure. The film had to work across Instagram and paid advertising, and it had to be ready in four days.
A conventional shoot for a brief like this means location scouting, permits, crew, aerial units and weeks of post-production. None of that fits inside four days.
What we made
Dreamcatcher Films built the film entirely through its AI production pipeline: story and script development, visual generation, motion, editing, sound design and grading, run as one continuous workflow instead of separate departments waiting on each other.
The result was a one-minute cinematic film and a 30-second cut-down trailer optimised for social media, both delivered on time. Because every frame is generated rather than shot, ADNOC kept complete creative control and could iterate on shots without reshoots.
The result
The films went out across ADNOC's campaign channels and passed five million views. They were produced at about 90% less than a traditional production of the same scope, and delivered in four days instead of the four to six weeks a conventional shoot would take.
For ADNOC, that meant premium brand content on a timeline that traditional production simply could not meet.
Why AI film production worked here
Energy infrastructure is expensive and slow to film: offshore platforms, refineries and race circuits all need access, safety clearance and specialist crews. AI film production removes those constraints. It turns a brief into cinematic footage in days, and it changes the economics of visual storytelling so that premium content is accessible at a fraction of the usual cost.
This project became our benchmark for AI-first brand content, and it is the model we follow for brands that need cinematic quality on a deadline.
